Hello i am DJ E.D.D.E.H
Music is constantly evolving, and therefore techniques used to showcase your abilities are like so.
We are therefore very excited to welcome our first non DJ to the Apropos Live family.
Slowolf
I will bet most of you, are acquainted with the basic concept of deejaying. Where you have two individuel tracks, one on each deck. Then the DJs foremost task from a technical aspect, is to mix the two tracks to perfection. Providing you with flawless transitions between the carefully picked tracks over and over again.
In this session, Slowolf will destroy that concept. Not only does he provide fluent transitions between the tracks, he will also perform and assemble the tracks live.
Imagine stripping the bass, the kick, the snare, the lead and the vocal from a track, then putting it back together at your own will using the MPC Drummachine, like a jigsaw puzzle where you decide the outcome.
Hailing from Copenhagen, SLOWOLF’s powerful sound rolls over the current wave of futuristic hip-hop, with his by oversized heavy bass notes and genre bending energetic liveshows.
Slowolf defies a typical DJ set, and draws upon his background as a drummer to bash out crazy live rhythms across an MPC, which has already been showcased on club and festival stages across the world, from Roskilde Festival in Denmark to Festivals in Shanghai.
Please welcome
Slowolf
